Every month I've been scrounging around looking for Namecheap or Godaddy coupon codes or promo codes for renewals or new registered domains, for discounts, and try about a dozen or so deals.  Most of the coupon codes I tried have expired or are not working anymore. Today I tried about 15 GoDaddy coupon deals. 

Some of them I've received in emails from GoDaddy and some I've found all over the Internet. Some of the codes were for as little as 10% off on domain renewals and some as much as 30% off. But tells you that there may be a code where you can get 30% off.  Now many of the codes from GoDaddy started with the small letter "g".  I don’t have the best luck with those or that they have the best discount however.  It seems to me the series of WEASEL codes are better, I'll outline down below.

Of course it's a waste of time to have to find them and try out so many but can be worth it if you have a lot of renewals or new domain registrations. So to help others shorten this search I decided I would list those on one of my websites-- picked this one-- it seemed most appropriate and list what has worked for me.

Every month I've a lot of renewals at both GoDaddy and Namecheap and also buy, or rather register, many new domains. I plan to keep adding the codes as I find them and only if I use them.  That way I can assure you that they worked for me and hopefully will be less work for you.

I'm going back and listing from last October when I started to keep better record of the coupon codes etc.  So the earlier ones may not work for you.

In October 2009 I used WEASEL8 and got 30% off my order for .com domains.  Because I was renewing several domains I'm not sure if the discount was for a certain number like 5 or more.  But WEASEL8 didn't work in January 2010.

In December 2009 I used gdr1228a and got about $10 off my order when I renewed 6 domains.  I don’t know what the minimum number of domains was if any, to renew.  My order was supposed to be $55.02 but with the coupon it was $45.96 -- the domains were $ 7.67 each for renewal, regular price was $9.17. So it was $1.50 off each domain name.

In January 2010 I used the WEASEL9 coupon code and renewed 6 domains. I don't think there was a limit but don't know for sure. My order was for $55.02 and with the coupon discount it came to $46.02.

For february 2010- I recieved an email with gda214av for 25% off orders over $75. Doesn't inlcude all their servics but the basic domain names should work, probably for renewals.

I plan to try the WEASEL code again because I think they've been around for awhile. Here is WEASEL7, WEASEL8 and WEASEL9, although 8 didn’t work this time.

Go Daddy Promo Code - Coupon Code - Buy a Domain name for $.99 offer

GoDaddy offers one new domain for $.99 till they sell a specified mount or until February 8, 2010.  It's called the World Bowl promo for the World Cup Games.  The coupon code is BOWL2010. They run this every year so if you miss it in January and February of 2010 look for it in 2011. It'll be $1.17 with the Icann charge that is added to every purchase.

NameCheap Coupon Codes - Promo codes for New and Renewal

I've never seen a discount on domain renewals for Namecheap.  However you can buy/register a new domain at a discount and use the monthly promo code, which is always in all caps.

For January 2010 the Namecheap coupon code for a new registered domain name is WINTERWIND. So a new domain would cost $8.81 instead of$9.69 at today's price. And that's what I pay. $.88 off. That adds up if you're buying a few new domains of course. l always get a free year of private registration too with each domain name at Namecheap.... A good deal! The BEST deal!
